In the heart of Rome, you find the restaurant Pianostrada. A must visit in our book
Pianostrada is the name of a restaurant owned by four women who divide their time between what are two venues.
Pianostrada is located on Via delle Zoccolette. The menu has all signature dishes like the deconstructed fried zuccini flowers, focaccia and squid ink burgers but also a wide range of contemporary items as well as signature cocktails. The menu is Italian and they make use of locally sourced ingredients.

A few years after, they opened a second restaurant called Pianoalto on Lungotevere Portuense on a rooftop location. This venue has two floors and the restaurant overlooks Rome’s ex-slaughterhouse and Mount Testaccio.
