This pasta from Italy only has three ingredients yet who knew you only need three ingredients to enter heaven? Cacio e Pepe literally translates to Cheese and pepper, and it is exactly that. Combined with pasta with have the three musketeers of pasta ready to tickle your tastebuds. Did you know that its origin sets back all the way to the roman shepherds?

Ingredients for Cacio e Pepe
- 600g of spaghetti (RUMMO n°5)
- 160g of Pecorino Romano
- 2 tablespoons of pepper
Preparation
1. Grate the cheese
2. In a hot pan, add the equivalent of two tablespoons of pepper and add the cheese
3. Let it heat up for a few minutes and once the cheese is melted, stir it vigorously until you get a homogeneous sauce
4. In a saucepan, boil some water and pour in the spaghetti, let it cook for 12 minutes, then pour the pasta into the pan with the sauce and stir

5. It’s done! Enjoy!
